Our Mission

The Everglades Society for Historic Preservation (ESHP), a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, aims to raise awareness of the unique history and wealth of historic buildings in our small southeast corner of beautiful Collier County, Florida.

Everglades Area Visitor Center

Information & Guidance for Tourists and Visitors

The Everglades Area Visitor Center was opened in February 2020. The Center is located at 207 W. Broadway in Everglades City and is open daily from 10 am to 2 pm.

Stop by to pick up maps, brochures, or speak with our staff and knowledgeable volunteers from the area.
