Enchantments; Julian Dimock’s Photographs of Southwest Florida

Julian Dimock and his father A.W. Dimock traveled into the hinterland of Southwest Florida from 1904 to 1913 taking photos of people, animals, and places in this remote area which was mostly unoccupied. The glass plate negatives have survived for 100 years at the American Museum of Natural History where the authors made the selections for this handsome volume. The photos were enhanced with a grant from ESHP.
